Cloud Architect

The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and leading the implementation of cloud-based systems, with a focus on AWS and DevOps principles, to meet the needs of the organization. This role will work closely with key stakeholders, including the Digital Factory team, and will be responsible for ensuring that cloud-based systems are secure, reliable, and scalable. This role will work as part of a distributed team in multiple locations including France.

Key responsibilities

• Designing cloud-based systems to meet the needs of the organization.
• Leading the implementation of cloud-based systems according to design specifications.
• Managing and monitoring cloud-based systems and services.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Digital Factory team, to identify and implement new use cases for the cloud.
• Providing expert support as an escalation point to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensuring that cloud-based systems are integrated with the organization's overall IT architecture and are aligned with its governance and compliance requirements.
• Continuously researching and staying up-to-date on new technologies and best practices in cloud computing.
• Managing and maintaining cloud-related documentation.
• Participating in the design, development and delivery of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to the Cloud Engineering team.

Skills

• Strong expertise in cloud computing, with deep knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS)
• Experience in cloud infrastructure management, security, and troubleshooting
• Experience in cloud infrastructure design, planning and implementation
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CICD and best practices
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide expert guidance to the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and processes. TOGAF certification is a "nice to have".
• Flexibility and adaptability to work as part of a distributed team with remote and on-site work
