Overview
The Division of Nuclear Medicine in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship‑trained candidate for a full‑time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track.

The successful applicant will join a faculty of 70 clinical radiologists involved in imaging at multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial Hospital, UHealth Hospitals and Clinics, and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Core Job Functions
- Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students and fellows.
- Experience in radiopharmaceutical therapy and theranostics – preferred for work in thyroid cancer, lymphoma, neuro‑endocrine tumors, and prostate cancer.
- Supervise the performance of technical personnel.
- Participate in on‑call schedule.
- Exercise quality assurance related to the practice of Nuclear Medicine.
- Provide Nuclear Medicine consultation as requested.
- Staff off‑site outpatient imaging sites as directed by the Division Director or Chair.
- Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of Nuclear Medicine.
- Engage in teaching activities in Diagnostic Radiology, integrated Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine Fellowship, medical student education, radiology technologist education, and Continuing Medical Education.
- Potential participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research.
- Serve on departmental and university committees as requested by the Chair.
Core Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Board‑certified in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR) and Nuclear Medicine (ABNM).
- Florida Medical License or eligibility.
- Completed at least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine.
- Experience in a university faculty setting is desirable but not required.
- Strong knowledge in radiopharmaceutical therapy and theranostics.
- Ability to supervise medical students, fellows, and technical staff.
