About the Team
You will join Greenly’s Climate Delivery team, a customer‑obsessed group of Climate Experts that delivers high‑quality projects such as carbon assessments, life‑cycle analyses, SBTi trajectories, and CSRD support.
About The Role
We are looking for a Climate Expert Intern for a 6‑month internship that serves as a stepping‑stone to a permanent junior Climate Expert position upon successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of data quality checks on GHG assessments and LCA projects delivered to clients.
- Support and progressively lead presentation meetings with clients.
- Design tools and templates that enhance client autonomy on quality checks.
- Standardize LCA management workflows and update mitigation plans on the platform.
- Share insights with Product to improve processes and tools.
- Maintain quality assurance across client projects and document scalable processes.
- Facilitate cross‑team alignment by sharing field insights and improvement ideas.
Success at the End of the Internship
- Autonomously manage quality checks and deliver reliable outputs for real client projects.
- Lead or co‑lead several result presentation meetings.
- Deliver a concrete process‑improvement tool or template used by the team.
- Earn recognition from clients and colleagues as an autonomous, rigorous, reliable, and proactive contributor.
- Build sufficient expertise and client posture to transition into a junior Climate Expert role.
Skills to Succeed
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, data, or a related field.
- Comfort with numbers, data analysis, and datasets.
- Solid Excel skills (mandatory); Python, SQL, or BI tools are strong plus.
- Clear and concise communication; ability to explain complex methodology to non‑experts.
- Interest in climate regulation and carbon accounting (GHG Protocol, LCA, SBTi, CSRD).
- Bilingual in French and English (C1/C1).
- Autonomous, rigorous, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Prior exposure to climate frameworks or sustainability consulting.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or BI tools.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and organization.
