Client Relationship Manager

Your role

We are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to:

  • Represent the full scope of our asset management services to our Wholesale and Institutional clients
  • Implement the right strategy to meet sales targets and generate revenues
  • Retain and develop client relationships, as well as guard against risk exposure
  • Focus on promoting the full range of products (traditional and alternative investment)
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities from our existing and prospective clients
  • Create and implement a strategic client book development plan that facilitates appropriate investment solutions
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and support the efforts of our third‑party relationships
  • Actively contribute to UBS’s integrated business model through cross‑selling of solutions

Your team

You’ll be working in the Asset Management Client Coverage team in Paris, reporting to the Head of Client Coverage France. We’re a dedicated team with an open corporate culture that values collaboration, results, entrepreneurship, client‑centricity and encourages proactive input and feedback. As a Client Relationship Manager, you’ll contribute to delivering a high‑quality client experience, strengthen our brand and ultimately increase our footprint in the French institutional and wholesale market.

Your expertise

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management or a related field
  • Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business management, economics, or finance
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with key decision makers and client influencers, effectively assess client challenges, and provide tailored solutions
  • Substantial knowledge of both traditional and alternative investment products
  • Proven track record in developing and sustaining client relationships, with experience in sales and cross‑selling initiatives
  • Established network and rapport within French wholesale and insurance companies (General Account and Unit Linked)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Dependable and goal‑oriented, with proven ability in time management
  • Strong sense of integrity with a keen understanding of how to build relationships
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, and familiarity with CRM tools
  • Native in French and fluent in English to support the local client portfolio
