Clean Utilities Work Package Owner

We are supporting a leading pharmaceutical company in their search for an experienced Clean Utilities Work Package Owner (WPO) to support key clean utilities work package activities. This will be an initial 7-month contract with strong likelihood of extension.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver the Clean Utilities work package ensuring scope, quality, cost, and schedule adherence
  • Act as technical SME for Clean Utilities
  • Ensure GMP, ISO, and internal compliance, with full quality oversight of all deliverables and activities
  • Support construction and commissioning activities, including supplier coordination and review of key documentation
  • Provide technical input to the Senior Project Manager for design decisions, problem solving, and project execution
  • Coordinate planning inputs and ensure alignment across work packages
  • Monitor and control project performance, including progress tracking, budget, schedule, and resource coordination
  • Support procurement activities in collaboration with purchasing and finance teams
  • Ensure effective reporting, including milestone tracking, risk and issue management, and change control
  • Communicate progress to stakeholders and support or lead project meetings as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and deliverables
  • Technical and commissioning documentation (P&IDs, DER, DQ, SAT, IV/OQ, etc.)

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Clean Utilities
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a structured project environment
  • Strong experience in pharmaceutical facilities, utilities systems, and commissioning activities
  • Proven experience with FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ
  • Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and regulated environments
  • Experience in CAPEX, expansion, or greenfield pharmaceutical projects is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage suppliers and technical stakeholders in complex project environments
  • Strong documentation, coordination, and reporting capability
  • Full professional proficiency in French is mandatory
