Civil & Structural BIM Modeller – France (13) – 6 Months

DCAI is currently seeking an experienced Civil & Structural BIM Modeller to support major infrastructure and industrial projects involving reinforced concrete, structural steel and underground structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of 2D and 3D models, production of construction drawings and technical documentation, while ensuring coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D models of civil and structural works.
• Develop general arrangement and detailed construction drawings.
• Support engineering teams during the technical design phase.
• Model reinforced concrete, steel and underground structures.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering requirements.
• Produce and update:
  • Formwork drawings
  • Reinforcement drawings
  • Civil engineering layout drawings
  • Construction documentation packages
  • As-Built Documentation (DOE)

• Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines including:
  • Roads & Utilities (VRD)
  • Architecture
  • HVAC
  • Electrical
  • Process engineering
• Participate in internal and external technical review meetings.
• Verify consistency and quality of project drawings and models.
• Ensure alignment between engineering deliverables and project requirements.

Profile

• Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Drafting & Design.
• Significant experience in civil and structural modelling activities.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering Modelling.
• Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience.
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Experience producing construction and fabrication drawings.
• Experience on industrial, infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects.
• Experience with underground structures and complex multidisciplinary environments.
