Project ONE will invest over 3 billion euros in a state-of-the-art Ethane Cracker and related utilities, storage, and energy facilities (OSBL). The goal is to become 'best in class' within the European Cracker Industry, surpassing existing competitors in safety and environmental standards.

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer for the Engineering department of INEOS Olefins Belgium NV, based in Lillo. Are you a civil engineer passionate about technical challenges?

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions for foundations, concrete, steel, and infrastructure works (roads, drainage, hydraulic structures, etc.).
• Lead projects independently from concept, design, and budgeting to execution and completion.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Guide external consulting firms on environmental permits and civil engineering design.
• Conduct inspections and review calculations (e.g., stability, scaffolding).
• Provide technical advice to colleagues, asset owners, and project teams.
• Stay updated on construction standards, norms, and innovative techniques.
• Manage and revise civil design specifications.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of Belgian and European standards.
• Experience with SAP, AutoCAD LT, MS Office, and structural calculation software.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail and safety.
• Independent, organized, communicative, and a team player.
• Language skills: Fluent Dutch, good English.
