Position: Civil Engineer - Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead municipal engineering projects including road rehabilitation, stormwater management, subdivision and land development reviews, and utility design.
• Coordinate and manage capital improvement projects for public sector clients.
• Liaise with technical teams, schedule development, and resolve engineering design and construction issues.
• Prepare work‑plan proposals, establish project budgets and construction cost estimates.
• Monitor project progress through the full life‑cycle to ensure on‑schedule and on‑budget delivery.
• Review and approve project shop drawings and detailed engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with professional engineering consultants, governmental agencies, community members and contractors.
• Represent the firm at municipal planning, zoning and land‑use board meetings.
• Communicate project goals and updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and foster professional growth.
• Engage in new business development and maintain existing client relationships.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
• New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience, preferably in private sector and infrastructure projects or land development.
• Strong knowledge of site development and public testimony before Land Use Boards a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required; GIS and Hydroflow experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team‑development skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Additional certifications such as CME, CFM, PP are a plus.

Compensation: $104,000 – $167,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Additional Information: This position is not eligible for H1‑B or any other visa sponsorship.
