Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their land development practice in Washington, DC. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated group of engineers who value mentorship, collaboration, and innovative design.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior staff in developing design and technical documentation across all project phases.
- Contribute to site design for a wide range of land development projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Prepare construction documents and coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines, covering layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and more.
- Assist with planning studies, preliminary/final design plans, and permitting documents.
- Develop erosion and sediment control plans that meet state and local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- E.I.T. certification (or in progress).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- 0–3 years of experience in land development or site civil engineering.
- Strong interest in collaboration and teamwork.
