About the Role

Location: Earth, TX. Per diem paid 7 days/week plus a monthly travel stipend. The role involves overseeing civil construction for a greenfield power project that includes the installation of five simple‑cycle combustion turbines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction activities: earthwork, concrete foundations, roads, drainage, and underground utilities.
• Review and verify survey layouts, elevations, and as‑built conditions.
• Perform quality inspections using ArcGIS / Survey123.
• Ensure work complies with civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical requirements.
• Document inspection results and deficiencies in Xcel Energy systems.
• Participate in daily POD meetings and coordinate efforts.
• Maintain safety and quality standards across active civil work zones.
• Support schedule coordination and milestone readiness.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of civil construction oversight experience.
• Experience in power plants, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with surveying, concrete placement, and earthwork inspections.
• 1+ year experience with ArcGIS, Survey123, or Procore.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
