CISO (Blockchain)

We’re hiring a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead security for a company operating at the cutting edge of cryptography and blockchain infrastructure.

This is a high-impact, executive role — you’ll be responsible for protecting systems that secure real economic value on-chain and ensuring we meet the expectations of enterprise and regulated customers.

What you’ll own

• End-to-end security strategy and execution
• Building and scaling a world-class security team
• Securing:
  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
  • CI/CD and software supply chain
  • Identity, access, and key management
  • SOC 2 / ISO 27001 and enterprise readiness
  • Incident response and evolving threat defence
  • Acting as the security leader externally with customers, auditors, and partners

What we need (non-negotiable)

Deep blockchain / crypto security experience

You’ve worked on

• Exchanges, custodians, L1/L2s, DeFi, or digital asset platforms

Strong understanding of

• Key management & signing infrastructure
• Smart contract exploits & blockchain threats
• Security risks unique to crypto ecosystems
• Former CISO / Head of Security
• Experience protecting large-scale assets
• Delivered SOC 2, ISO 27001 (or similar)
• Comfortable with regulators, audits, and enterprise customers

This is not a generalist CISO role.

We are specifically looking for candidates with hands‑on blockchain / digital asset security experience.
