We are looking for an experienced L3 Cisco IPT Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support and ownership of a large-scale enterprise voice environment. The role will focus on Cisco IP Telephony (IPT) infrastructure, complex incident resolution, problem management, changes and technical escalation.

You will work closely with network, infrastructure, security and application teams to maintain a highly available voice environment and support business-critical communications services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for Cisco IPT and enterprise voice infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents across Cisco Unified Communications environments.
• Manage escalated incidents, problems and service requests through to resolution.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Support configuration, upgrades, migrations and lifecycle management of Cisco voice platforms.
• Diagnose issues across voice, signalling, network and application layers .
• Work with Cisco TAC and third-party vendors on complex technical issues.
• Implement and support controlled changes in production environments.
• Develop technical documentation, support procedures and knowledge articles.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and act as a technical escalation point.
• Participate in out-of-hours support and major incident management where required.

Essential Experience

• Proven L3/L4 Cisco IPT / Voice Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting CUCM in a large enterprise environment.
• Excellent knowledge of SIP, RTP, dial plans and voice gateways .
• Strong networking fundamentals, particularly TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and QoS .
• Experience troubleshooting complex voice issues using logs, traces and packet captures.
• Experience working within ITIL, change management and incident/problem management processes.
• Ability to lead technical investigations and provide clear RCA documentation.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with technical and business stakeholders.

Desirable

• Cisco CCNP Collaboration or equivalent experience.
• Cisco Collaboration / Voice certifications.
• Experience with CUBE and SIP trunking .
• Webex / Teams voice integration.
• Experience within Financial Services / Investment Banking .
