Keyman Executive Search is supporting a
mid-sized international industrial group , operating across several countries, in the recruitment of its
Chief Information Officer.
An opportunity for a senior IT leader to take full ownership of a group IT function, with genuine decision‑making authority and direct exposure to executive leadership. This role sits at group level and combines operational IT leadership with a strong transformation dimension.
The Role Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the Chief Information Officer will be responsible for :
Taking direct leadership of a 10-person international IT team spread across multiple sites, with no local relay, building cohesion, trust and a shared way of working
Defining and executing the group IT roadmap across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity and data, in alignment with business priorities
Strengthening the relationship between IT and industrial operations : clarifying responsibilities and positioning IT as a genuine partner to manufacturing, supply chain, finance and commercial functions
Introducing governance and prioritization frameworks that bring structure and visibility to IT investment decisions
Serving as the primary IT representative
This is a hands‑on leadership role, requiring direct involvement in both strategic direction and operational execution.
Federating an international, multicultural IT team across multiple sites
Positioning IT as a credible and trusted partner to demanding industrial operations
Rationalizing a broad and complex application landscape while maintaining service continuity
Driving alignment between IT priorities and business needs in a multi-site, multi-culture environment
Positioning IT as a credible and trusted partner to demanding industrial operations in close dialogue with key stakeholders.
Profile Sought Senior IT leader with a minimum of 15 years of experience, combining solid technical depth with the ability to operate at executive level.
Proven experience leading international, multicultural IT teams across geographically dispersed sites
Track record in complex, multi‑application industrial or manufacturing environments
Demonstrated ability to build governance frameworks and drive prioritization with discipline
Strong business acumen, able to translate technology decisions into operational and strategic value
Natural authority and strong interpersonal skills, equally at ease with operational teams and executive leadership
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a strong advantage
Fluent French and English required
Position based in Paris. Monthly international travel across group sites is to be expected.
