Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed frame-by-frame analysis of film sequences, identifying key cinematographic elements.
• Evaluate camera movements (e.g., tracking shots, crane shots, handheld), angles, and their emotional or narrative impact.
• Document lighting techniques (e.g., naturalistic, expressive, hard/soft light), color temperature, and shadow play.
• Evaluate shot composition, rule of thirds, leading lines, depth of field, and framing choices.
• Categorize and describe the visual narrative flow, how shots connect, and their contribution to the overall story.
• Provide structured feedback on AI's ability to identify and interpret complex cinematographic techniques.

Ideal Qualifications

• Degree in Film Production, Cinematography, Film Studies, or equivalent professional experience as a Director of Photography or Film Critic.
• Deep theoretical and practical understanding of cinematographic principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in film analysis and the ability to articulate visual concepts using industry-standard terminology.
• Familiarity with various film genres, historical periods, and the works of renowned cinematographers.
• Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) for frame analysis is a plus.
