About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Renewable Energy Operations and Asset Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic operations within a renewable energy portfolio, focusing on ensuring efficient execution of projects and long‑term optimization of asset value. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership to implement business plans, oversee construction, operations, and asset management of utility‑scale solar projects, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all operational activities. The COO will also develop and execute strategies for asset management and value optimization, fostering collaboration with internal teams and external contractors to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in utility‑scale solar project operations and construction.
- Proven track record of improving operational performance and financial outcomes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to develop and execute asset management strategies effectively.
- Financial literacy.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
- Experience preparing pre‑NTP projects for investment approval, managing construction budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
