The company is developing a next-generation AI infrastructure platform designed to orchestrate complex R&D ecosystems across enterprises, research institutions, and industrial players. It aims to transform how organizations design, validate, and scale innovation in highly complex environments.

Following years of development, the company has achieved key milestones and is entering a critical expansion phase. It is establishing its first European hub in France to serve as a strategic base for ecosystem development and future scaling across Europe.

Role: Chief of Staff / General Manager France – lead the structuring and deployment of French operations, acting as a partner to the CEO and local operator to translate vision into execution and drive European expansion.

Position

We are seeking a highly strategic and operational Chief of Staff to lead the launch and development of the French entity. This is a late partner and founding role at the intersection of strategy, operations, and ecosystem development within a high-growth deeptech environment. As the CEO’s right hand in Europe, you will translate the company’s vision into execution and ensure the establishment and scaling of its presence in France, bridging the high-velocity commercial environment of New York City with the R&D ecosystem of Paris via the "Sovereign Corridor".

In early phase, you will structure the French subsidiary (legal and operational setup) and act as its local representative within governance frameworks. You will drive execution across operations, partnerships, and internal coordination, ensuring alignment between the Paris hub and global teams. You will lead business development with a high-velocity, strategic diagnostic approach to rapidly demonstrate R&D ROI and engage with C-level stakeholders at large organizations.

You will contribute to funding and financing initiatives, working with public institutions (such as Bpifrance) and coordinating with legal and financial partners to support grant applications and compliant execution. You will anchor the company within the French and European landscape by building relationships across industry, academia, and public institutions, positioning the company as a credible player in the deeptech and AI ecosystem.

You will build and lead a very specialized, high-level technical team, recruiting Forward Deployed Architects and PhD Researchers, structuring the local team, and fostering a high-performance, execution-driven culture. As a strategic partner to the CEO, you will provide structured insights to inform decision-making and ensure priorities translate into measurable outcomes. The role is designed to evolve toward broader operational leadership (COO-type) at the European level in the medium term.

Profile

The candidate holds a Master’s degree or PhD from a leading institution, ideally in engineering, business, or a related field, with significant experience (typically 8–15 years) in strategy consulting, high-growth startups, or hybrid roles combining strategic thinking and operational execution. You have demonstrated ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments and to drive execution in contexts of ambiguity and high stakes.

You combine strong analytical and structuring capabilities with a clear execution mindset. You are known for translating high-level strategy into actionable plans and delivering tangible results. You have experience managing complex projects, engaging with senior stakeholders, and navigating international environments.

You have a solid understanding of AI and deeptech, especially in B2B settings, and can interact with technical teams without being a technical expert yourself. You can quickly grasp complex topics and translate them into business and operational implications.

You demonstrate strong knowledge of the French ecosystem, including public institutions, innovation frameworks, and corporate environments, and can operate at the intersection of public and private stakeholders. You are comfortable working in an international context and cross-cultural environments between Europe and the United States.

You show ownership, high energy, and next-gen leadership, maintaining startup agility while carrying senior-level diplomacy. You are proactive, autonomous, and able to balance building and executing with long-term value creation. You are bilingual in English, with strong communication, synthesis, and business judgment. Rigor, integrity, and a positive mindset help you thrive in demanding environments and contribute to building a high-impact organization.

The position is available immediately as a full-time CDI and is based in Paris.
