Mission Highlights
As our first non-technical hire, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic alignment across the organization, with the ultimate goal of scaling our internal "operating system" and ensuring we are investor-ready for our next major fundraise. You will act as a force multiplier for the CEO, bridging the gap between our breakthrough science and business execution.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Governance
Help with the preparation for board meetings, investor reporting, and internal OKR tracking to ensure the team remains united in pursuing shared objectives.
- Operational Scaling
Design and execute internal processes across HR, finance, and administration to support a rapidly growing team.
- Fundraising & Finance
Support the CEO in preparing for the next fundraise and identifying/securing non-dilutive financing opportunities.
- Talent & Culture
Oversee the hiring and onboarding process to continue assembling an exceptional team of top-tier players.
- Special Projects
Tackle "everything and anything", from procurement and lab logistics to securing IP protection for research innovations.
Competencies

You are a "Swiss Army Knife" who enjoys translating complex technical milestones into actionable business strategies. You are a sharp and collaborative trouble‑shooter who doesn’t shy away from hard problems and possesses the emotional intelligence to navigate a team of highly technical PhDs and engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Educational qualification: Master’s degree from a top‑tier engineering or business school.
- Proven record of innovative and independent problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational management or strategy consulting.
- Project management experience with a track record of delivering on time while managing multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- English: Professional working proficiency.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Experience working in startup environments or Venture Capital.
- A background in Biology or Bioengineering (or a deep curiosity for biotechnology).
- French: Professional working proficiency.
- Experience with non‑dilutive funding and grant writing.
