Chief Legal Advisor, International Standards & Affairs

UNESCO is seeking a Legal Adviser/Director of the Office of International Standards and Legal Affairs. The role combines advisory work with managerial leadership over complex legal matters in international and national law.

The incumbent will guide staff, coordinate resources, and ensure high-quality legal services across the Organization. Under the Director-General, the holder directs the Office, provides strategic guidance, and oversees financial and human resources management related to LA.
