Job and recruitment context
We are hiring our Chief Financial Officer (CFO). We are looking for an experienced leader to own the financial function, drive our US growth, and structure the company for scale and acquisitions.
Reporting Structure
You will be a core member of the Executive Committee (Codir/Comex), acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Missions: The Strategic Leap
- Step‑Up & Industrialisation of the Finance Function:
- Take complete ownership and leadership of the Finance function.
- Move from a managed function to an autonomous, strategic, and mature department.
- Optimise, automate and secure all financial processes, tools and flows to support rapid growth and the rigorous demands of the US market (internal control, compliance, etc.).
- Reporting & Financial Steering:
- Lead and improve financial reporting for internal stakeholders (Comex, Codir) and, critically, for investors.
- Take charge of and pilot the budgeting process, financial planning and business plan revisions.
- Performance analysis: identify key levers, model variances and drive remediation actions.
Accountabilities: Your Growth Pillars
- Leading International Growth (US Focus):
- Define and oversee the financial and tax structure in the United States.
- Ensure compliance and financial reporting, taking into account US standards (US GAAP).
- Be the guarantor of key SaaS and MedTech financial indicators in the context of US expansion.
- M&A (External Growth):
- Pilot all phases of acquisition: financial identification of targets, valuation, comprehensive due diligence (financial, tax, legal).
- Lead risk analysis and financial modelling for post‑acquisition integration.
- Work closely with the CEO and investors on the financial structuring of deals.
- Investor Relations:
- Prepare for future fundraising rounds and manage relationships with investment funds, integrating the complexity of a multi‑entity structure.
- Optimise the Cap Table and manage shareholder relations, especially in the context of acquisitions.
Team & Leadership
- Management: Lead, mentor and structure the existing Finance team (3 people), ensuring their upskilling and professional development.
Experience & Profile: Your CFO DNA
- Confirmed Financial Leadership: you have significant experience, ideally as a CFO coming from a Scale‑up with successful Series B/C fundraising, or a solid background in Investment Banking, or as a Manager/Director in Audit/Transaction Services within a top firm.
- M&A Expertise is Non‑Negotiable: Proven track record of piloting and successfully integrating acquisitions.
- US GAAP Mastery: solid knowledge and practical experience with US accounting standards and the US financial environment.
- Strategic Visionary: You possess strong business acumen, moving beyond mere accounting to provide strategic financial direction that drives company growth and profitability.
- Language: Fluent in English (professional working proficiency is essential).

General information
Salary
- For this job (permanent contract), your base salary will be competitive and reflective of your experience, between 110k€ and 130k€.
- Stock option plan (BSPCE) subject to customary conditions.
