About the role
Created in April 2019, Wasabi is an outlet of the CORNER CUISINE DISTRIBUTION Group, specializing in the manufacturing and sale of Asian recipes in large retail. Today, Wasabi totals more than 180 corners in metropolitan France and Réunion, located in supermarkets and hypermarkets such as Carrefour, E.Leclerc, Intermarché and Système U.
Our concept
Three taste worlds at the same kiosk:
- Sushi, traditional Japanese dish
- Wok, delicious Thai-inspired recipes
- Bowls, sun-soaked dishes
All this in compliance with internal procedures and hygiene standards (HACCP).
Responsibilities
- Prepare the entire range of products, from fish cutting to plating and packaging.
- Manage a corner daily by purchasing and managing inventory.
- Ensure proper product preservation.
- Guarantee the cleanliness of work areas and maintenance of cooking utensils.
- Achieve production targets set by the Business Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service with impeccable presentation.
- Train, support and supervise the team attached to the corner.
Qualifications
- Expert in sushi preparation.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or sushi corner.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety fundamentals.
- Experience managing a team and a sushi corner.
- Autonomous and meticulous.
