Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site position for a Chef Pâtissier based in Portes‑lès‑Valence. The Chef Pâtissier will oversee the creation and preparation of high‑quality pastries and desserts, manage inventory and supplies for baking, and ensure adherence to food safety regulations. The role involves developing innovative recipes, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques, with a strong foundation in creating artisanal pastries and desserts
- Expertise in Food Preparation and comprehensive Culinary Skills relevant to a pâtisserie environment
- Advanced cooking skills applied to pastry and dessert‑making processes
- Attention to detail and creativity in developing new recipes to enhance the menu
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
- Excellent teamwork, time management, and organizational skills
- Relevant formal training or certification in pastry arts or culinary studies is highly desirable
- Previous experience as a Chef Pâtissier or a similar role in a fine dining or luxury culinary setting is an advantage
