Chef/fe de projet Mise en Exploitation (MEE) – Programme Aval du Futur
On the site of La Hague, Orano has been recycling spent nuclear fuel for over 50 years. In the context of developing new reactors (EPR2), the current treatment and recycling facilities must be renewed as part of the "Aval du Futur" project, which aims to build new plants operating until 2110–2120. The project is one of the largest industrial projects in the Western world.
Contexte du projet
Work began two years ago; construction is expected to start in 2030, with commissioning from 2038 to 2050. The early commissioning of the first workshops in 2038 requires strict schedule management while respecting nuclear safety and budget constraints.
Mission
As head of the preparation and logistics of the projects, you will adapt and refine the six MEE missions:
- Secure reliability of the installations
- Integrate experience feedback (REX) from operations and maintenance
- Guarantee operational viability and maintainability
- Develop operating and maintenance documentation
- Define operational and maintenance logistics
- Train operating and maintenance personnel
The missions apply to the different scopes and work packages of the site portfolio, including:
- Demolition of existing buildings
- Rerouting of networks
- Modification of safety installations
- Setup of site infrastructure (access, fencing, concrete plant, living bases, utilities, etc.)
You will also prepare all processes and operating modes to manage incidents on the site, interfacing with the La Hague operating nuclear site.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and manage teams required for mission execution
- Lead activities while meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals
- Ensure attainment of program milestones assigned to you
Qualifications
Bachelor's +5 level engineering or equivalent education (engineering school or university).
Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning technical facilities.
