Missions
Preparing the building site
- Become familiar with the building site (kick‑off meeting, contractual documents, technical execution file, site visit, QHSE guidelines, etc.).
- Schedule and coordinate the works to be carried out.
- Propose operating‑procedure options, alternatives and optimisations.
- Identify the necessary human and material resources.
- Act as a source of proposals for defining preventive measures to be implemented throughout the building‑site project.
- Prepare the remote site (sanitary facilities, etc.).
- Complete the supplies.
Managing the building site
- Pass on the guidelines to the personnel involved (organisation, implementation deadlines, use of equipment).
- Organise the procurement of equipment, supplies, materials, the locations of machinery and the storage areas.
- Schedule the activity and resources, and assign the tasks to personnel.
- Ensure compliance with, and transmission of, QHSE procedures, rules and preventive measures.
- Analyse accidents/incidents and risks, and define appropriate preventive measures.
- Draw up and implement the QHSE action plan (preventive, corrective).
- Ensure the provision of PPE on the building site.
- Ensure the follow‑up of the schedule (lead times, work‑time budget).
- Verify the compliance of the construction execution (by internal employees, sub‑contractors, service providers, etc.) in line with the construction documents.
- Establish and/or validate the administrative files (time entries, transfer slip, work permit, other permits, etc.) and the job reports, appraisals, etc.
- Pass on information useful for your superiors and your team.
- Provide technical support to operative personnel.
- Perform the actions required to resolve deviations (including the obtaining of the works completion certificate).
- Take part in the reception of the installation with the client (OPR - operations prior to reception).
- Take part in the experience feedback sessions.
- Communicate with local residents and/or other companies on the building site.
Managing the teams
- Welcome newcomers (employees, temporary workers).
- Manage a team (lead, delegate, refocus, congratulate, motivate).
- Ensure the skills transfer within the team.
- Conduct or help to conduct the individual and/or professional appraisal interviews.
Job Requirements
- Required level of education: CAP Électricien or Bac Pro MELEC. BTS Électrotechnique desired.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in tertiary electricity (installation, renovation or commissioning).
- Electrical habilitations up to date (B1V / H0V minimum).
- Technical skills: organisation, prioritisation and management of resources; mastery of tertiary electrical installations.
- Leadership, autonomy, rigorous professional communication.
- Experience in team management, coordination of contractors and site management.
- Personal qualities: rigor, autonomy, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, team spirit, strict adherence to safety rules.
