Chef/Cook (Clermont)
Full-time (38 hrs / week) qualified cook position.
- At least one year full-time experience.
- Hold a relevant certificate Level 3 or higher.
Duties
Duties include preparation work, providing daily specials such as roast of the day, cooking 'traditional' pub meals such as rib & rump steaks, pork loin, lamb chops, crumbed fish like red emperor or barramundi fillets, etc.
Must be able to focus and work under pressure, and take control in the kitchen. For example, on Friday evenings (5:30-8:30 pm) must be able to prepare +100 to 150 meals.
Other duties involve ordering, preparation and stock take activities, labelling / dating items, meat slicing, cryovac meat storage and monitoring wastage to keep to a minimum.
Weekly cleanliness duties are important, e.g. vent, kitchen equipment & maintenance.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year. Salary package to include on-site accommodation and meals (to be negotiated). Benefits: Salary packaging.
Location and Travel
Work Location: In person, Clermont QLD 4721. Must reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting work.
