We are currently looking for a Compliance Business Partner for our office in Paris:

The Compliance Management Team

• Provide assurance to the senior management and board of MSIG Europe as to their compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
• Contributing to being a sound & honest company in which people’s actions are based on integrity.
• Provide a good compliance service through the successful management of stakeholder relationships.
• Work with line management to continually develop the function and deliver its objectives.
• Work closely with the team and the wider business departments to maintain compliance with MSIG Europe policies, local procedures and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

As Compliance Business Partner, You Will

• Partner with both the Marine and Property & Casualty business areas, building effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Be the point of contact for business and senior managers across the account area.
• Contribute at operational meetings providing influence where needed.
• Take ownership of compliance projects or work streams and involve internal stakeholders where required.
• Develop subject matter expertise becoming the go-to person and arranging internal training as required.
• Identify & elevate risk, control deficiencies and themes to management whilst proposing solutions to mitigate future issues.

Profile We Are Looking For

• University degree or equivalent level through work experience in compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to balance commercial considerations with regulatory principles and risk appetite.
• Strong written and oral skills (English and French).
• Well‑organised and able to manage workload.
• Influencing and negotiating with the ability to build credible relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to constructively challenge the business whilst being solution focused.
• Strong customer service ethic.
• Good teamwork, able to work across regions and locations.
