Procurement Strategy and Performance Lead (F/M)

As a Procurement Strategy and Performance Lead (F/M), you will be responsible for identifying and developing suppliers/subcontractors capable of meeting technical, quality, and cost requirements while adhering to timelines and budgets defined by internal stakeholders. You will act as the Procurement reference for cost management from ITO (Inquiry to Order) to OTR (Order to Remittance).

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, process, and analyze purchasing volumes by commodity to gain full visibility over spend and supplier base across all procurement portfolios.
• Assess the need for new suppliers (capacity absorption, cost reduction, procurement strategy, etc.).
• Manage the identification, outreach, and development of new strategic suppliers.
• Define optimal supplier/subcontractor strategies to balance cost, quality, and reliability.
• Establish Make-or-Buy strategies and perform technical risk analysis during ITO/OTR phases.
• Lead supplier onboarding and First Article Qualification processes.
• Develop, update, and monitor Procurement KPIs (Budget vs. Actuals, €/unit trends).
• Drive strategic KPIs within Procurement and foster cross‑site synergies across Baker Hughes.

Qualifications

• Hold at minimum a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Procurement or a related field.
• Have relevant experience in procurement.
• Demonstrate strong autonomy, organization skills, and decision‑making ability.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Have a basic understanding of legal aspects of procurement.
• Be able to manage priorities and make sound decisions.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, analytical skills, creativity, and innovation to identify issues and drive solutions.
• Have a good level of English (B2 minimum).
