Channel Account Manager – Sony Professional Displays
The role involves exploring new sales territories by engaging dealers, system integrators, and end users, including corporate and high‑end educational accounts. The manager will create and grow a customer portfolio, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and support corporate channel and IT partners across pan‑European markets.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and create opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Manage and optimize the overall customer account experience.
- Understand the customer's business to influence needs and identify suitable solutions.
- Lead efforts to sell solutions and close sales opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with key executives and decision makers.
- Navigate the customer's buying process and meet/exceed C&E financial quotas and targets.
- Manage opportunities and transactions to ensure long‑term stability of the book of business.
- Demonstrate proficiency with C&E methods and processes, including account planning, opportunity planning, forecasting, lead‑to‑quote, performance management, and need‑based sales methodology.
- Maintain and update the pipeline and customer contacts in Salesforce.com and the internal database.
Qualifications
- Experience in the AV/IT channel with resellers, integrators, and end users.
- French fluency and strong English verbal & written communication.
- Background in a matrix selling environment, collaborating with technical presales and services.
- Substantial experience demonstrating AV industry products and solutions.
- Deep understanding of customer, channel, and partner requirements and the ability to position integrated solutions.
- Strong prospecting skills utilizing cold calling, social selling, email, and partner channels.
- Knowledge of local regional customers, dealers, system integrators, and end users.
