An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Chalet Manager to oversee the operation of a prestigious private residence in the European Alps. All applicants must have a EUROPEAN PASSPORT
Owned by an ultra-high-net-worth international principal, the chalet serves as both a family retreat and an exclusive rental residence. The successful candidate will act as the Principal’s trusted representative, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, discretion and property management.
This role requires a hands-on, service-led professional (either individual or as a couple) capable of delivering a seamless guest experience while managing all aspects of the chalet’s operation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for the Principal, family members and guests.
Deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences and anticipate individual preferences.
Oversee the day-to-day operation, presentation and maintenance of the chalet.
Manage and coordinate household staff, seasonal employees and external contractors.
Arrange concierge services, dining reservations, ski activities, transport and special events.
Monitor operational budgets, purchasing and household inventories.
Ensure the highest standards of service, housekeeping, maintenance and health and safety.
Liaise regularly with the Principal and/or family office, providing updates as required.
Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience within a luxury chalet, private residence, boutique hotel, yacht or UHNW household.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and service standards.
Experience managing staff and third-party suppliers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, hands‑on and solutions‑focused approach.
Absolute discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
Minimum five years’ experience within luxury hospitality or private household management.
Experience working with UHNW individuals or families.
Fluent English; French language skills are advantageous.
Strong administrative and IT skills.
Full driving licence and eligibility to work in France.
