Responsibilities
- Commercial Leadership and Revenue Growth (Initial Core Mandate)
- Hold full topline accountability for the EMEA region from day one.
- Drive commercial strategy, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and expansion across existing and emerging markets.
- Strengthen performance across sales, business development, application engineering, and go‑to‑market operations.
- Develop commercial roadmaps for high‑potential countries and verticals.
- Implement commercial KPIs, forecasting accuracy, performance management routines, and reporting standards.
- Ensure alignment between pricing, channel strategy, and regional growth objectives.
- Ensure delivery of agreed regional sales revenue, operating profit, and expense ratio targets.
- Organizational Development, Talent Leadership & EMEA BU Organizational Construction
- Build and lead a high‑performing EMEA leadership team, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus across the region.
- Identify capability gaps and staffing requirements, partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment, development, and talent planning.
- Provide leadership through clear targets, incentives, performance management routines, and learning & development programs.
- Contribute to the organizational construction of the future EMEA Business Unit, participating in the definition of its mission, operating perimeter, and organizational model as the regional structure evolves.
- Support the identification of functions currently housed within the Group/HQ that may transition into the EMEA regional structure.
- Help build phased organizational roadmaps covering change management, talent deployment, and capability building.
- Work with senior functional leadership to define future financial governance, cost structures, and operational cadence supporting eventual expanded regional responsibilities and future P&L stewardship.
- Team Leadership and Business Analysis
- Direct team activities to achieve business objectives through strong market, customer, and competitor analysis.
- Review, maintain, and enhance business processes in coordination with appropriate functional teams to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
- Ensure disciplined execution, continuous evaluation of performance, and systematic improvement of business operations.
- Performance, Governance & Financial Stewardship
- Establish regional performance management systems, financial processes, and KPIs.
- Review financial statements, sales reports, and activity metrics to measure productivity, goal achievement, and opportunities for cost optimization and program improvement.
- Define the annual regional budget in collaboration with global division leaders and maintain budget adherence throughout the fiscal year.
- Provide accurate, timely reporting and strategic insights to the global executive team.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards across diverse jurisdictions.
- Legal Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all regional operations comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and corporate safety procedures.
- Champion adherence to internal governance frameworks and global risk‑management practices.
- Industry Intelligence and Market Development
- Leverage existing networks to maintain deep market, customer, and competitor intelligence.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and disseminate market and customer insights throughout the organization.
- Identify and materialize opportunities for expanding solutions in existing and new market segments.
- Brand Development and Relationship Management
- Represent the L‑Acoustics brand, values, and corporate culture across the EMEA region with consistency and excellence.
- Maintain and enhance corporate image, reputation, and brand equity.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with major accounts, partners, and industry stakeholders to strengthen brand loyalty and long‑term trust.
- Marketing and Communication
- Establish and coordinate regional marketing objectives, policies, and programs in alignment with the Group Marketing Policy.
- Translate marketing strategies into daily commercial actions in collaboration with sales and application teams.
- Lead regional internal communications to increase awareness of corporate direction, priorities, and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business management or equivalent.
- A minimum of 15years of experience in general management, ideally as a Country or Regional P&L leader in an international matrix organization.
- Proven track record of P&L leadership in the EMEA region.
- Experience within a technology‑driven company, ideally in a BtoB environment.
- Proven expertise in developing effective strategies in close collaboration with global functional leadership, showcasing a demonstrated capability to create strategic plans and translate them into tangible and impactful outcomes.
- Background in a company with premium market positioning is a plus.
