The Auditorium Orchestre national de Lyon is offering a permanent position for a cellist. The application period is open from September 3, 2026, to November 1, 2026. Audition rounds will include a variety of pieces from composers such as J. Haydn, L. v. Beethoven, B. Bartók, R. Schumann, and others. The first round will feature selections from Haydn's Concerto in D major and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, among others. Subsequent rounds will include works by Schumann, Mendelssohn, and Tchaikovsky, with piano accompaniment provided. Auditions will be scheduled for November 9, 2026.
