Position Overview

Join Cowan Systems as an OTR truck driver in Knoxville, TN. You will drive Dry Van, Reefer, Container, Flatbed, or Tanker, with predictable pay and schedules, top‑notch equipment and 24/7 support.

Pay & Benefits

• Weekly pay: $1,375 – $1,650 depending on experience and mileage
• $7,500 sign‑on bonus paid over first 39 weeks
• Additional $0.05 CPM for 2,500+ miles per week
• Additional $0.05 CPM for deliveries in MD, PA, NJ, DE
• Additional $0.07 CPM for deliveries in NY and above
• Yearly pay increases
• Minimum 2,500-3,000 miles per week; off‑load 34‑48 hour reset at home weekly
• Detention/breakdown pay available
• 100% no‑touch freight
• Consistent/familiar freight lanes; NY and above not required
• Full benefits after 60 days: Health, Dental, Vision

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across long distances, meeting delivery schedules
• Operate a Class A cargo vehicle (Dry Van, Reefer, Container, Flatbed, or Tanker)
• Maintain safe driving record and adhere to company and DOT regulations
• Handle 2,500–3,000 miles per week with minimum 1 week out
• Provide exceptional customer service to dedicated clients

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum nine (9) months of verifiable Class A driving experience in last three (3) years
• Experience with Dry Van, Reefer, Container, Flatbed or Tanker
• Consistent Class A driving experience
• Safe driving record
