CDI - Global Tech HR Domain Manager (F/M/X)
The position of Global Tech HR Domain Manager at SEPHORA is a leadership role that encompasses both managerial and strategic responsibilities. The main objectives of this role include leading the HR IT team, managing and delivering integration projects between various HR and Payroll applications, as well as overseeing the RUN phase of these integrations. This position also involves planning and budget management, collaboration with stakeholders across the organization, and maintaining deep functional and technical knowledge to effectively manage the lifecycle of domain solutions.
The Global Tech HR Domain Manager plays a key role in supervising the implementation of HR integration projects, enhancements, and support activities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with service level agreements.
In collaboration with SEPHORA’s HRIS teams, the person in this role implements IT solutions for application interfacing between the SuccessFactors platform (My SEPHORA CAREER) and other related solutions, including:
- Workforce time management (GTA, Workforce Planning)
- Absence management
- Payroll
- Training
- LVMH Group HR tools
The scope is global – covering the EME region and extending to other Sephora regions (China, Southeast Asia, Latin America).
The team consists of 2 internal project managers and 2 external consultants (developers) located in France (Neuilly) and Morocco (Casablanca).
The role reports to the Information Systems Department under the Corporate Domain Director, which includes Finance & Legal, HR, CoE RPA, and Authorizations.
Key Responsibilities
DELIVERY: Responsible for managing domain integration projects
- Establish, maintain, and deliver the project roadmap
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficient resource management, on-time project delivery, and compliance with established policies, procedures, and governance frameworks #DELIVERY
- Work closely with project managers to develop project plans, participate in governance, and manage risks and issues
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders (ESN, Security, OKTA, One Workplace…), managing expectations and resolving conflicts to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Oversee project implementation and execution (scope definition, governance, deliverables, action plan tracking)
- Ensure adherence to processes and best practices in the HR domain (JIRA, KARTOS, DTI, interface implementation standards) and maintain functional and technical consistency
- Establish and monitor project (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX) budgets #BudgetManager
Support/Maintenance
- Supervise incident resolution within the domain
- Ensure permanent fixes and continuous improvement
- Guarantee knowledge transfer from projects to AMS and operations teams #RUN
IT Strategy & Governance – Act as IT SPOC for Integration topics with Global HRIS and EME Digital Transformation teams #GOVERNANCE
- Lead/contribute to IT HR/HRIS and IT HR/EME Transformation committees
- Support business in transformation projects
- Define, maintain, and promote the target vision for HR domain integration strategy in collaboration with HR Business and Global HRIS teams
Leadership, Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Provide leadership and guidance, ensuring team productivity and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage internal/external resources (workload planning)
- Manage relationships with partners (e.g., editors, integrators, software engineering companies) and ensure SLAs are respected.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge (career plans, training, goal setting) #TeamManagement
Qualifications and Expectations
You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:
- Have experience managing IT teams or domains
- Have IT HR or HRIS experience
- Know HR management software (SAP SuccessFactors is a plus)
- Master project management and IT development standards and methodologies
- Are skilled in budget management and chargeback mechanisms
- Have practical knowledge of ITIL service management
- Have functional knowledge of HRIS processes

- Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in an IT domain manager or similar role within an IT department – HR division – in a retail company or a consulting firm.
- People Management – internal team leadership is a MUST
- Significant experience in an international organization
- Proven experience in influence roles (listening, formalization, agility, compromise)
Additionally, you possess all the qualities of an excellent operational manager, such as leadership, organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously, resilience, agility, strong listening and analytical skills, and outstanding interpersonal abilities, proactive and strongly customer oriented.
The position is based in Neuilly sur Seine.
