Mission

We’re looking for a Chief Of Staff to the CTO. You will work directly with the CTO and closely with the executive team and key stakeholders to act as a force multiplier on cross‑functional strategic topics at the intersection of IT, security, vendors, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a force multiplier on cross‑functional strategic topics.
• Own the security roadmap and governance.
• Track and optimise the SaaS and tooling footprint, including license usage.
• Resolve business‑critical incidents by coordinating stakeholders, restoring service fast, and ensuring durable post‑mortem and action tracking.
• Drive AI initiatives to support business users – enablement, tooling, guardrails, and adoption playbooks.
• Lead cross‑squad coordination on critical engineering topics such as reliability, security‑by‑design, and vendor/tooling choices.
• Build playbooks, dashboards, and automations that reduce operational load.
• Maintain a pragmatic security roadmap aligned with business priorities and risk.
• Define and report security operating cadences: access reviews, risk register, vendor/security reviews, and incident readiness.
• Run security awareness programs: phishing simulations, training, and lightweight audits.
• Partner with Engineering on cloud and security foundations – IAM, logging, monitoring, and incident response drills.
• Keep a clean, actionable SaaS/tooling inventory and use it to optimise spend and access discipline.
• Lead renewals and negotiations with clear usage data and business narrative.
• Drive consolidation where it reduces risk and cost, focusing on SSO‑first and fewer tools.

• Engineering – ~20 people in 5 squads
• IT Support – ~4 people
• Data – ~4 people
• Product – ~10 people
• Cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, People, and business teams

Qualifications

• Strong security fundamentals and ability to drive a pragmatic roadmap.
• Comfortable with data and ops: inventories, KPIs, access reviews, and audit trails.
• Experience with vendor/contract renewal or strong ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate cross‑functionally with high autonomy, discretion, and follow‑through.
• Experience automating and troubleshooting with bash, Python, PowerShell or equivalent.
• Clear communication and calm prioritisation under pressure.
• Fluent in French and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IdP/SSO, MDM, EDR, SIEM/logging, password managers.
• AWS security familiarity – IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, etc.
• Experience supporting compliance work such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR routines.
