About your mission

Account Management

  • Manage the Power Business Group of Valeo, a strategic global customer account of the automotive sector to drive and maximize ST revenue, promoting ST image and product portfolio, and synchronizing excellent support.
  • Analyze account strategy and competition to identify opportunities for value creation and commercialization; Identify new business opportunities by understanding customer applications and markets in depth.
  • Define and execute revenue and Design Ins budget, lead contract negotiation, RFI and RFQ response with proper pricing management.
  • Responsible for design opportunity funnel/project tracking and progress sharing (i.e., Salesforce).
  • Collect Qualified Customer Demand data and provide Regional Business Management with a short and mid-term forecast for the covered account.
  • Pro-actively monitor account forward orders and initiate relevant sales activities to ensure proper backlog coverage, gap analysis, and recovery actions.
  • Feedback pricing positioning with account in charge to maximize product profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Act as customer first point of contact for escalations and crisis management (e.g. delivery, quality, logistics, payment).
  • Together with the Marketing Organization, define and support branding activities. Run meetings/workshops with customers’ R&D teams to foster demand creation.
  • Anticipate future account requirements and propose actions to match their development strategy (e.g., product roadmap, application coverage, service/plant location coverage, resource needs).
  • Master customer organizations and decision‑making mapping to enlarge presence, network and influence.
  • Represent ST at the customer, developing and strengthening long‑term partnerships with the customer’s decision makers (middle and top management) at the headquarters and worldwide locations and providing all necessary support, to maximise business with them and to identify new business opportunities.

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

  • Industrial Engineering (Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with Business), M.Sc. or advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in sales or business development in the semiconductor industry, preferably with global accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding market share in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Experience in leading and collaborating with cross‑functional and cross‑organizational teams, to drive cohesive account strategies and execute demand creation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop comprehensive account plans that align with customer business objectives and ST’s strategic goals. Skilled in mapping customer organizations, decision‑making processes, and identifying key stakeholders to maximize account penetration and long‑term partnership growth.
  • Strong understanding of industry dynamics, customer applications, and business models. Proven ability to anticipate future account needs and proactively propose strategic actions aligned with customer development plans and ST’s product roadmap.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to build and sustain trusted relationships with multi‑level decision makers.
  • Strong individual accountability, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluent in English and French (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Role preferably based in France or Germany.
