Description de la mission
Naval Group recruits, for its Paris site, a jurist specialised in business litigation, responsible for following pre-litigation and litigation matters across the group, in all areas of business law (excluding tax and social). The role also involves providing legal support to RSE-related issues.
Under the responsibility of the Director of Litigation and integrated into the Legal and Contract Management Department, you will follow pre-litigation and litigation for Naval Group and its subsidiaries, seeking resolution through amicable agreements, mediation, arbitration or judicial and administrative procedures.
Responsabilités principales
- Manage and handle a portfolio of litigations in judicial, administrative or arbitration courts across all business law areas (excluding labour and tax cases), ensuring liaison with lawyers and internal operational teams; review and validate lawyers’ acts (declarations, conclusions, memoranda, etc.) in coordination with internal stakeholders such as operational teams and general management.
- Advise other legal departments and/or operational teams on the legal analysis of pre-litigation files to safeguard Naval Group’s interests and manage financial and image risks.
- Handle mediations and alternative dispute resolution methods, drafting necessary documents when required.
- Develop and animate training sessions on legal themes related to Naval Group activities.
- Provide legal support to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department.
- Maintain a legal and regulatory watch.

- Define, with the Director of Litigation, pre-litigation and litigation strategy and ensure its implementation.
- Collaborate with Group lawyers to develop common standards (best practices, guidelines, lessons learned) and disseminate legal culture across the Group.

Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of litigation management.
- Deep understanding of business law, subcontracting, penal law, and preferably intellectual property applied to industrial contracts and public procurement laws.
- Proficiency in drafting transactional protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to partner with other legal departments and operational teams.
- Analytical, synthetic and rigorous thinking with excellent writing skills.
- Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines and objectives.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
