CDD 6 months - Global Brand Manager - W/M

Danone EDPI (Essential Dairy & Plant-based International) is the biggest business unit in the company and the biggest fresh dairy business unit in the world. Activia, the largest global fresh dairy brand, is sold in more than 70 countries across 5 continents.

Now the Activia Global Brand Marketing team is looking for a Global Brand Manager to accelerate the brand growth from October 4th 2021 for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. Job location is in Paris 9th.

Mission & Responsibilities

Manage and support marketing equity projects related to the brand equity strategy & implementation within the Activia Global Equity Team (direct report is Global Senior Brand Manager). You will collaborate actively on the equity strategy, working on one of the key strategic priorities for the brand – the crafting of a comprehensive brand book that serves as a blueprint for Activia’s executions across different touchpoints and markets, with concrete guidelines on visual identity, tone of voice and storytelling.

  • Collaborate with the selected partner agency to bring the new brand platform and positioning to life through a consistent brand visual world across touchpoints and adapted storytelling, including pack redesign and testing.
  • Define clear guidelines to strengthen brand equity through distinctiveness, increase resource efficiency and speed time to market.
  • Promote the brand book and foster usage of the guidelines in the brand community worldwide.

You will also be managing one intern and touch all the strategic perspectives of international brand equity management. This means you will be in close contact with local brand managers of Activia worldwide and with many external and internal stakeholders.

  • In the morning you might be brainstorming with our selected partner on the key distinctive brand assets and how to use them across touchpoints.
  • In the afternoon you could present our strategic thinking to Brand Directors or Brand managers worldwide to embark them on our journey.

You will learn how to navigate projects within a huge brand under a complex yet international context.

About you

You should have a strong passion for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG/FMCG) and brand management, and the enthusiasm to embrace the challenges of working for the biggest fresh dairy brand in the world. You can be a fast learner with good marketing knowledge (first brand management experience), passionate for creativity, proactive, and have a can‑do attitude. You possess strategic thinking with the ability to handle complex & noisy information, organizational skills to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines, autonomy to work independently and drive project progress, and the ability to build relationships with a crowd of high diversity.

You are at ease working in an international environment, have advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), and CPG experience is a clear plus.
