CBTA Training Development Manager
On behalf of our client Simaero, a global leader in aviation simulation and pilot training solutions, we are recruiting a CBTA Training Development Manager to lead the design and implementation of Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) programmes across their international training network.
Our Client, Simaero is a fast-growing international pilot training company operating simulator training centres in France, South Africa, China, and India. They provide mandatory recurrent training to over 300 airlines worldwide and are developing their dedicated team to develop Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) programs – the most significant shift in pilot training methodology in decades.

Role Requirements:
- Right to live and work in the EU
- Must be able to be office based 3 days per week.
- Commercial pilot background (ATPL or frozen ATPL) with airline or multi-crew experience
- Aware of/experience with Competency Based Training Assessments (CBTA)
- IT Competent – to be able to create Training Programmes and have previous experience of doing so
- At least one of the following: active or lapsed TRI/SFI/TRE/SFE qualification; experience designing training syllabi, courseware, or competency frameworks; or any work within an ATO or airline training department (even part-time alongside line flying)
- Genuinely interested in training methodology
- Fluent operating in English in a professional context (C1
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Paris / Île-de-France region
