Catastrophe Modeling Analyst | Paris

I’m currently partnering with a leading international reinsurance business that is looking to hire a Catastrophe Modeling Analyst to join its Paris-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with catastrophe modeling, insurance, reinsurance, or risk analytics experience to work on a diverse global portfolio covering natural catastrophe exposures across multiple international markets. You’ll work closely with experienced underwriters, supporting pricing decisions, exposure management, portfolio analytics, and catastrophe risk assessment.

The role offers significant exposure to complex treaty business, industry‑leading catastrophe models, and a highly technical environment where analytical thinking and innovation are valued. It would suit someone who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems, and contributing directly to underwriting and portfolio management decisions.

Key requirements

• Experience in catastrophe modeling, insurance, reinsurance, or risk analytics
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL, VBA, Python, or similar programming knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent French and English.
