Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and transform Capital Markets Products & Solutions (CMPS) product capability to provide digital channels for both clients and internal users across Private Banking and Retail Banking.
  • Drive the Bank’s product capability growth through digital and self‑direct channels, overseeing agile technology projects for a robust price discovery and execution platform.
  • Build system interfaces with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., client information checks, booking trades into core banking platforms) to streamline operational flow and improve user and frontline productivity.
  • Develop and maintain a vision for agile technology projects and communicate the vision to the scrum team; be responsible for features from concept to final implementation.
  • Understand wealth management products, their processes, and relevance to clients.
  • Define and own the strategic digital product vision and roadmap for the wealth management product suite.
  • Align product strategy with business goals, market trends, and client needs.
  • Develop a competitive product strategy across relevant asset classes such as FX, equities, fixed‑income, structured products, OTC derivatives, funds, and insurance.
  • Monitor market dynamics and regulatory changes to ensure products remain competitive and compliant.
  • Work with architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure business, quality, and functional goals are met with each release.
  • Design, usability, quality, and delivery of agile technology projects and features.
  • Determine business requirements, review technology project plans from the business perspective, and embed new technological capabilities in business processes to deliver benefits.
  • Ensure smooth execution on the ground and communicate delivered changes to relevant stakeholders, including front office.
  • Review and understand key business policies and processes in Wealth Management, identify critical pain‑points, and articulate how technology projects will solve them.
  • Specialize in digital platforms, familiar with CMPS order management/execution platforms and proper interfacing with downstream booking systems.
  • Leverage strong technical know‑how to improve front office systems performance and expand product penetration according to business development.
  • Make decisions on priorities and design; keep stakeholders aligned at each stage of the agile development lifecycle.
  • Provide business input on requirements, prioritise “must have” items over “good to have” ones.
  • Review technology plans and design specifications to ensure business requirements are met and benefits delivered.
  • Identify impact on critical processes within the Bank’s operational risk framework and work with process owners to maintain robust controls.
  • Develop test plans, coordinate business users for testing, and ensure final delivery meets user needs.
  • Coordinate go‑live activities, develop training materials, brief stakeholders, design communication plans, gather feedback, and track benefits captured.
  • Participate in project reviews, highlight issues, and work with stakeholders to resolve them early.
  • Conduct periodic briefings to senior management on progress and highlight required resolutions.
  • Strengthen performance culture and reinforce accountabilities in product teams, sharing technical skills and experience.
  • Embed a risk culture, ensuring AML compliance, reporting suspicious activities, and providing remedial action or reporting to risk committees.
  • Maintain awareness of the regulatory framework and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the business to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters collaboratively.

  • Market/Credit/Operational Risk, Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, and COO team

Skills and Experience

  • Strong risk evaluation experience in Capital Markets / Wealth Management products
  • 5 years of experience in technology and business
  • Extensive knowledge of financial market products

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5‑8 years of experience in wealth management, investment banking, or financial services
  • Good understanding of wealth management products and asset classes (FX, equities, fixed income, structured products, OTC derivatives, funds, insurance)
  • Relevant knowledge of regulatory and operational frameworks in wealth management
  • Preferred: Understanding of global wealth management market trends
  • Relevant degree from a reputable university
  • Project Management / System Development or an equivalent background
  • Regulatory and compliance knowledge across the bank is mandatory and developmental
  • Proficient in English
