Carpenter BThe Carpenter B at Primoris Energy Services performs skilled carpentry tasks, including layout, cutting, fitting, and assembling structural components for industrial construction projects. This role requires precision and adherence to safety standards.Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine layout and dimensions.Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall using hand and power tools.Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and trim.Construct and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures.Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and equipment.Perform demolition tasks as required.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project completion.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a carpenter in an industrial or commercial setting.Proficiency in using various hand and power tools common to the carpentry trade.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.Strong understanding of construction safety practices and procedures.Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license .Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
