Cargo Development & Logistics Director
We are looking for a Global Director of Cargo Development & Logistics to own and drive this agenda worldwide.
The Role
Reporting to the CCO, you will set and execute the global cargo and logistics strategy across the full network.
You will work closely with business unit Cargo Directors, and cross-functional teams, to push performance on every front: terminal operations, commercial capture, process digitalisation, and cargo-related real estate — industrial parks, logistics zones, cargo villages.
This is a high-impact, network-wide role. You will be expected to maximise value creation, propose and evaluate capital investments, grow yields and ancillary revenues, and position our client as the partner of choice for global cargo operators, integrators, and logistics developers.
What you will drive
- Define and implement the global cargo and logistics development strategy
- Drive operational efficiency, best practice sharing, and process digitalization across all cargo terminals
- Lead cargo real estate development: industrial parks, logistics zones, cargo villages, warehousing facilities
- Develop and implement a global cargo capture strategy to increase market share, yields, and ancillary revenues
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with global operators, integrators (DHL, FedEx, UPS, ...), freight forwarders, and logistics developers
- Propose and evaluate cargo-related capital investments and contribute to business plans and budgets
- Represent our client in industry forums and with key global stakeholders
Your Profile
- 10–15 years minimum in cargo, logistics, or aviation, with at least 5 years in senior leadership across multiple sites or geographies.
- You have hands‑on experience in both cargo terminal operations and logistics real estate development .
- You know the global air cargo market — its players, its regulatory frameworks, its trends. You have built and led high‑performing, geographically dispersed teams.
- Fluency in English is required. French, Spanish, or Portuguese are valued assets.
