About This Role
Based in Berlin, Audible is looking for a Campaign Operations Manager who will serve as the planning and operational backbone for large‑scale content marketing campaigns of Pottermore Publishing (Digital Publisher of Harry Potter series) productions in the German market. Familiarity with the Harry Potter series is considered an asset but not a requirement. This role will ensure flawless execution across all marketing channels through meticulous coordination, project and process management, and stakeholder communication. They will manage the day‑to‑day operations of complex 360‑degree marketing campaigns, serving as the central coordinator between channel teams, creative teams, agency partners, and Pottermore Publishing. Their mission is to ensure all campaign elements are delivered on time, on brief, and on brand through exceptional project management and attention to detail. They will work closely with Creative, PR, Acquisition, Content Performance, Lifecycle, and Content teams, serving as the operational hub that keeps all workstreams moving efficiently and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
This position is initially open through a 7‑month contract.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and coordinate various marketing channels including media, lifecycle, acquisition, and social media at a global and local level to ensure an integrated marketing approach to the customer.
- Create and own approval process within Audible and with external partners for all marketing channels managing revision cycles and ensuring brand compliance on both sides.
- Facilitate discussions, remove roadblocks actively between internal teams and partner brand teams.
- Manage vetting processes for talent, influencers, experiential elements with external partners, coordinating review cycles and communicating effectively to key stakeholders within Audible.
- Own all legal and finance operations for large scale content campaigns, actively tracking spends, contracts and coordinating with key stakeholders within Audible and with external partners.
- Set up and manage regular meetings and information flow with external partners and internal leaders to discuss campaign progress, track approvals, and resolve issues.
- Own all campaign measurement by being a champion of data and helping set up campaign goals based on past experiences; help set up measurement templates and own campaign measurement and reporting.
- Identify process improvements and implement efficiencies to reduce operational friction in real time. Serve as the go‑to problem solver for operational challenges that arise during campaign execution.
- Own all media coordination and ensure timely fulfilment of assets per pre‑agreed plans. Own the media planning to execution cycle across all marketing channels end‑to‑end.
- Set up and maintain live project documentation, ensuring all teams have access to current information.
Basic Qualifications
- Business fluency in English alongside fluent language skills in German.
- Experience in deep marketing operations or project management.
- Experience managing multiple complex, multi‑work‑stream campaigns with numerous stakeholders.
- Experience in managing budgets and contracts.
- Experience in managing creative production workflows and approval processes.
- Experience with project management tools and systems like Airtable and Sprinklr.
- Experience working with external agencies and partner organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the digital entertainment, media, or content industry.
- Language skills in French, Italian, or Spanish.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to coordinate across different teams, C‑levels, and external organizations.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving blockers.
