Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, eager‑to‑learn Calibration Technician I to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of calibration and instrumentation. The Technician I will support calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks under supervision while adhering to PCI and client‑specific policies and procedures. The role involves travel to client sites and requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with supervision, following accurate GxP documentation.
• Conduct basic pressure, temperature, humidity, time, and CO2 calibrations.
• Ensure safe handling and maintenance of PCI and client‑owned equipment.
• Identify project supply needs and communicate to appropriate resources.
• Provide excellent customer service to develop client relationships.
• Maintain a neat and professional work area and complete timesheets and expense reports accurately.
• Travel to client sites for calibration and maintenance activities as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of calibration concepts, test accuracy, and safety requirements.
• Ability to perform basic calibration tasks on mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and a team player.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy equipment and work in varying environments.

Education & Experience

• A two‑year degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration.
