C++ Developer

As a C++ Developer at ALTEN, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams. Your work will directly impact projects for industry-leading clients.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Design

• Analyze technical specifications to define software requirements.
• Design scalable and efficient C++ architectures and conduct feasibility studies.
• Propose and validate technical solutions with stakeholders.

Development

• Develop high-quality C++ applications following industry best practices.
• Optimize code for performance, memory management, and thread safety.
• Model, design, and implement databases and backend systems.

Testing & Maintenance

• Write and execute unit, integration, and performance tests (e.g., GoogleTest, JMeter).
• Debug and refine existing C++ systems in collaboration with product teams.
• Ensure code reliability, security, and maintainability.

Documentation

• Produce clear technical documentation for internal and client use.

Qualifications

Your Profile

Required Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional C++ development (internships count for junior roles).
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in C++ (modern C++11/14/17/20, STL, templates, multithreading).
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).
