Sales Permanent Job Description

The Business Unit Leader is accountable for the end‑to‑end performance of the WB&SDA business, with full responsibility for strategy definition and execution, P&L delivery, and organizational leadership at the market level. The role leads Product Line and Sales WBSDA (KAM, D2C, Amazon), Consumer Marketing to drive sustainable growth, market share expansion, and brand strength across all channels.

Location

You will be based in our Saint Denis (Paris) office, being France the lead market for the Category but you will be responsible for the entire Commercial Area South.

What you’ll do

  • Own and deliver full P&L responsibility for the Well-Being and Small Domestic Appliances business unit.
  • Implement the Product Line strategy within the Commercial Area.
  • Define and execute the mid‑term business strategy aligned with Regional BU WB&SDA.
  • Ensure market product life cycle management, including Phase‑In/Phase‑Out, PNC levels and commonality.
  • Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, cost optimization, and working capital efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Oversee Sales, ensuring strong strategic partnerships with top customers.
  • Set clear sales targets, forecasting accuracy, and performance KPIs.
  • Ensure effective negotiation of commercial agreements, assortments, pricing, and promotions.
  • Lead consumer marketing strategy, including product positioning and brand communication, in alignment with CA and Central Marketing.
  • Ensure go‑to‑market excellence for new product launches.
  • Work closely with regional teams to adapt brand strategy to local market needs.
  • Ensure coordination between sales, trade operation, marketing, supply chain, and customer service.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a cross‑functional leadership team.
  • Foster a performance‑driven culture with clear accountability and development plans.
  • Identify and develop high‑potential talent and succession plans.
  • Promote collaboration across functions and with regional/global stakeholders.

Who you are

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales covering roles with growing responsibility within the Consumer Electronics industry, preferably with a focus on Small Domestic Appliances.
  • Deep knowledge of the French commercial landscape (clients and retailers within the Consumer Electronics industry).
  • Proven track record in P&L ownership and business leadership.
  • Strategic leadership and commercial acumen.
  • Strong people management and change leadership skills.
  • Consumer‑centric and data‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
  • Fluent in French and English.
