Business Relationship Manager (H/F)
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will play a strategic client leadership role for a Large Energy Customer based in France, representing TCS’s Industrial Autonomy & Engineering (IA&E) unit.
The role is focused on driving business growth, deepening strategic relationships, and shaping large‑scale industrial, engineering, and digital transformation programs across the Customer’s value chain – including upstream, downstream, LNG, refining, chemicals, Retail and new energies (Renewable).
This position acts as the bridge between the Customer’s business & operational leadership and TCS’s IA&E capabilities, ensuring that engineering, innovation, and digital initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes in collaboration with Delivery teams & Practices/CoEs.
The ideal candidate will have a total of 15+ years of experience, with 10+ years of industry experience shaping proposals, building strong client relationships, managing account‑level P&L, opportunity mining, and shaping proposals while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to create business opportunities and enhance value for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage senior client executives, Engineering, Digital & Business leaders, and procurement stakeholders to build long‑term partnerships across OT, Engineering, Information Management, Energy Operations, Asset Management & Maintenance, Digital & Industrial Transformation, Supply Chain, Sustainability / Safety, etc.
- Monitor account performance, lead business reviews, and support relationship management to expand service footprint focused on Industrial Autonomy & Engineering services portfolio.
- Drive account mining, identify opportunities towards pipeline development and manage sales cycles to closure, commercial negotiations, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
- Build and maintain account maps, identify high‑potential opportunities, and strategise go‑to‑market plans with technical and sales leadership. Understand the Customer’s Innovation strategy, Digital roadmap, Energy & Sustainability priorities.
- Collaborate with delivery leaders to ensure seamless transition from sales to execution, provide executive governance, escalation management, continuous improvement and performance oversight.
Must‑Have Skills
- Strong experience & domain knowledge for Oil & Gas and Energy Industries.
- Proven track record of selling engineering services, industrial analytics and Industrial Digital transformation solutions for asset‑intensive industries.
- Proven track record of positioning offerings, developing and presenting proposals, value propositions, business cases and complex deal structuring.
- Should have experience of consultative selling, operating in European/French client environments with complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent French speaking.
- Bachelor’s in engineering / Master in Engineering / Master in Business Administration with 10‑20 years of experience, including at least 5+ years of large relationship/account management and client‑facing roles.
