Job Description

The Business Procurement Manager acts as the operational owner of the end‑to‑end supplier lifecycle, ensuring continuity, compliance, and high‑quality service delivery across all Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding activities. All procurement activities are executed in full alignment with DP World’s procurement policies and governance standards. The role operates across the complete lifecycle of customer contracts, from bid phase through launch execution and into business‑as‑usual (BAU) operations. During the bid phase, Business Procurement supports RFQ execution, supplier engagement, and cost validation. At launch, the focus is on supplier onboarding and execution readiness. In BAU, the role ensures ongoing supplier performance, compliance, and operational continuity.

Working in close collaboration with Category Procurement and Procurement Excellence, the function ensures strong alignment with procurement strategy, governance, and execution standards. The Manager is accountable for procurement delivery across complex operational environments and plays a critical role in ensuring there is no loss of procurement ownership or continuity between the bid, launch, and BAU phases.

How You Will Contribute

• Lead procurement across complex bids, launches and BAU
• Manage senior stakeholders
• Own and define local supplier strategies for non-category spend where no central strategy exists
• Ensure and enforce compliance with procurement policy across all procurement activities
• Lead high value sourcing and governance

What You Will Bring

• Certified or working towards CIPS / NEVI (or equivalent), with a good understanding of purchasing tools (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in procurement
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and demanding environment
• Strong decision‑making skills, including with limited information, and experience managing stakeholders at strategic and tactical levels
• Excellent project management experience within complex, cross‑functional environments
• Senior profile with the ability to challenge, influence and negotiate effectively (strong analytical and negotiation skills)
• Fluent in English and French and willing to travel up to 25% within Europe
