Position

Business Process Owner (BPO) – R2R (F/M – Permanent contract)

What we offer

As part of the Group Finance Business Process & Excellence, the BPO is responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership, stability, and continuous improvement of the Record to Report process at group level. The role is key to safeguard the Finance Core Model following the deployment of SAP 4 Hana and satellite systems in Southern Europe (2025) and Northern Europe (2026). This newly created position ensures the sustainability and scalability of the Finance Core Model, acting as a cornerstone of Finance excellence and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure end‑to‑end ownership of the R2R process post Go‑Live for regions live with the new IT landscape.
• Safeguard the Finance Core Model, including process design, controls, and configurations.
• Ensure consistent and sustainable execution across regions and entities.
• Secure high level of automation and the benefits of the implemented solution.
• Validate, prioritise, and govern change requests, deviations, and improvements.
• Act as a key interface between Finance, IT, and regional teams, ensuring alignment, driving decision‑making, and supporting the key user community across the group.
• Maintain process documentation and training materials, run training sessions when needed.
• Contribute to performance monitoring and continuous improvement, identifying and driving automation levers and digital opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with the Project R2R stream leader.
• Support potential new local implementations by sharing system knowledge and deployment experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the R2R process.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA in a post‑go‑live environment.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, and data governance.
• Ability to operate in a multi‑country Group environment.
• Interest in and experience with AI tools is a plus.
• Fluent professional English.

You have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Location

Possible in one of our headquarters in Europe, with occasional travel within the Group.
