Business Process Owner (BPO) – O2C (F/M – Permanent)

As part of the Group Finance Business Process & Excellence, the Business Process Owner (BPO) is responsible for end‑to‑end ownership, stability and continuous improvement of the Order to Cash process at group level. This newly created position will ensure the sustainability and scalability of the Finance Core Model following the deployment of SAP S/4HANA in Southern Europe (2025) and Northern Europe (2026).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure end‑to‑end ownership of the O2C process after Go‑Live for regions operating with the new IT landscape.
  • Safeguard the Finance Core Model, including process design, controls and configurations.
  • Maintain consistent and sustainable execution across regions and entities.
  • Secure a high level of automation and the benefits of the implemented solution.
  • Validate, prioritise and govern change requests, deviations and improvements.
  • Act as a key interface between Finance, IT and regional teams, coordinating with IT for controlled system evolution and supporting the key user community across the group.
  • Maintain process documentation and training materials, and run training sessions when required.
  • Contribute to performance monitoring and continuous improvement, identifying and driving automation levers and digital opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Secure strong cooperation and alignment with the Project O2C stream leader.
  • Support potential new local implementations by sharing system knowledge and deployment experience.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in O2C processes.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA in a post‑go‑live environment.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and data governance.
  • Ability to operate in a multi‑country Group environment.
  • Interest in or experience with AI tools is an added advantage.
  • Fluent professional English.

You are curious by nature and able to develop and implement innovative action plans. You have strong problem‑solving skills and are confident in dealing with key internal and external stakeholders. You possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Location

Possible in one of our headquarters in Europe, with occasional travel within the Group.
