Business Manager - Portfolio

Overview

ABB helps industries run leaner and cleaner. This role is part of the Electrification Distribution Services division and reports to the Business Manager – E2E.

The work model is hybrid/remote with onsite presence required in our R&D facilities in Mebane, NC.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Designing and successfully implementing portfolio/product group strategy and ensuring achievement of performance targets.
• Developing and managing products, solutions, systems, and/or services portfolio required to achieve market leadership.
• Defining the portfolio roadmap, including product and solution streamlining, acquisition targets for portfolio synergies, and development opportunities.
• Ensuring profitable business growth organically and inorganically in identified markets through optimized production and supply chain footprints, competitive distribution, and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in senior product or portfolio management, driving customer and process excellence within a manufacturing, commercial, P&L or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of sales and factory operations, with a track record of connecting the two for improved delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
